Introduction This article measures the meta-comprehension of reading practices among schoolchildren and students. Methods The Metacognitive Awareness Reading Strategies Inventory (MARSI) Scale (MAI) was used to do this. Results research results showed that MARSI students overall outperformed high school students, differences were tested using Student’s t -test. problem-solving subscale recorded levels for moderate Supported strategies Global in medium range each age group. Discussion obtained are primarily important teachers. By being aware their cognitive processes, take first step towards meaningful thoughtful reading, which is goal many modern developments approaches. As become more role learning process expands point where they dominate it, rather than teacher.
